For three years we have been in the process of re-thinking Christopher Piper's one-man production of "Hansel and Gretel." We had envisioned several puppeteers singing more of the Humperdink opera, and filling more of the new stage. However, several fans whose opinion we value convinced us to remount the current incarnation one more time. We're kind of glad, as it has been a long-time favorite.

What's "Hansel and Gretel" About???

A marionette adaptation of Humperdink's children's opera, full of magic, music and dazzling special effects. The puppets, created by veteran puppetmaster Allan Stevens, the lights, music and effects, are all operated by Christopher Piper, who also performs all the live vocal characterizations, including a singing Gretel. The production has long been a favorite of children and their parents, and is an excellent introduction to musical story for children.
