"A Midsummer Night's Dream!" About???
The course of true love never did run
smooth, especially when puckish Robin Goodfellow sets
out to prove what fools these mortals be.
This adaptation, the Puppet Co.'s most ambitious to
date, was created as a comprehensive introduction to
the magic and beauty of Shakespeare's comedy. While
accessable to today's young audiences, it retains the
full flavor of the Bard's poetry, characterization,
and spectacle. Twenty-seven figures represent the Fairies,
Lovers, Nobles and Craftsmen in the elaborate setting
of the Athenian Woods.
