first online movie, "The One-Minute Nutcracker"
gives you a quick preview of the Puppet Co.'s annual
holiday treat.
A Puppet Co. tradition since 1987, we have presented
"The Nutcracker" to thousands annually. This
one-minute version was created for a contest by what
is now "Your
Mac Life," a weekly webcast hosted by
Shawn King. It won a platinum pass to Macworld Expo
in San Francisco. If you can handle the large download,

What's
"The Nutcracker" About???
A
holiday treat, Tchaikovsky's musical adaptation of the
E. T. A.Hoffman story is brought to life by the magic
of The Puppet Co.. The larger-than-life-size costume
characters and marionettes delight Clara-Marie, and
the audience, on her magical journey through the "Land
of the Sugar Plum Fairy." Originally performed
live with the Arlington Symphony, this production is
full of, as the Washington Post
put it "clever costuming and delightful
surprises."
