This adaptation, the Puppet Co.’s most ambitious to date, was created as a comprehensive introduction to the magic and beauty of Shakespeare’s comedy. While accessable to today’s young audiences, it retains the full flavor of the Bard’s poetry, characterization, and spectacle. Twenty-seven figures represent the Fairies, Lovers, Nobles and Craftsmen in the elaborate setting of the Athenian Woods.
