Outside My Door: A STEM Puppetry Camp

Explore the great outdoors and study appearances, habitats and behaviors. Create simple rod puppets inspired by direct observation of the world outside your door. Present your own nature story through the art of puppetry. Info: pennyspuppets@hotmail.com. Tuition includes an online puppet show viewing on August 15. 

If you don’t have access to the required materials, kits are available by emailing elizabethdapo@gmail.com with the subject line “Outside My Door Camp Supplies”. The kit will include cardstock, craft sticks, and google eyes. Orders must be placed by Aug 3 to guarantee on time delivery. 

This camp takes place via Zoom, and the link to participate will be provided to only registered students by the instructor prior to the first day of camp.

Suggested Materials:

File folders or cardstock, thin cardboard (like a cereal box)

Colored pencils or markers or crayons

craft sticks or twigs, chopsticks, pencils, plastic utensil

Optional: yarn, feathers, google eyes, fabric
