Silly Sounds: Using Our Voices to Make Fun Characters

Ages 4-8

Dates & Times

August 3-7

Kenzy Forman

In Silly Sounds we will use our voices to create fun characters! We will learn to warm up the voice and explore how volume, pitch, tempo, and rhythm can help us find new creative ways to voice our characters. What kinds of characters speak low and slow? Who might speak quickly with a squeak or a squawk? If your child loves to use their voice in playtime and performance, we will channel that energy into creating new puppet friends to expand that interest.  Info:  Tuition includes an online puppet show viewing on August 8. A PDF of puppets to print in your own home will be emailed to all campers.

If you don’t have access to these supplies, complete kits are available for the cost of $5.00.  Email with the subject line “Silly Sounds Camp Supplies” to purchase kit. Orders must be placed by July 27 to guarantee on time delivery.

This camp takes place via Zoom, and the link to participate will be provided to only registered students by the instructor prior to the first day of camp.
